ASATI created the first golf dome in 1988. From owning a golf structure of their own, ASATI realized that they could create a structure which would reduce the the operational cost. If desired, ASATI will design their golf domes in a trapezoidal shape which tapers in the back to follow the trajectory of the dome. This reduces operational cost by reducing wasted space that would unnecessarily be heated.
